Flutterbys was established in 2019, and we are so very proud to be able to offer tailored support to each of our individual families as well as group support.

We are working towards covering the whole of the Cheshire East area, but that doesn’t mean that we cannot support you if you live further afield!

So very often, we sadly see the same challenges arise for our young people. There is a strong feeling of isolation, this feeling that no one else is like me.

There is still so much disinformation, and purposely harmful transphobia incidents that are occurring in every day aspects of life. Situations such as at school, bullying, Deadnaming, and a general lack of awareness and inclusion skills.

Flutterbys want to see a more open, understanding and embracing society. As a transgender or gender questioning young person, it is important to know that you are incredible and you deserve the right to be treated fairly, with dignity and be able to stand tall!
